Aoki uses information necessary to process purchases, provide licenses, validate device-bound activations, prevent abuse, and provide support. Payment card information is processed by Stripe and should not be stored by Aoki.

Information used

This may include customer email, license status, Stripe transaction/customer identifiers, a derived device fingerprint, activation timestamps, app version, and support information you choose to provide.

Purpose

Information is used to fulfill purchases, administer subscriptions, validate licenses, manage device resets, investigate fraud or abuse, and maintain the service.

Security

Privileged payment and licensing credentials are kept server-side and are not intended to be embedded in the downloadable client.

Draft policy. Final retention periods, business contact information, processors, and jurisdiction-specific disclosures should be added before launch.
